Hyderabad: The Telangana state pollution control body (TSPCB) has informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT) that 881 encroachment has been identified in 11 water bodies in Ameenpur.
Even Indiramma houses built by the state are on the lake that violates the limit.
Notifications are issued for 780 structures under Section 23 of Water Telangana, Land Act and Trees (Walta).
TSPCB has informed that the remaining notification cannot be removed because the owner cannot be identified.
