Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 336 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Tuesday while the number of active cases in the country reached 5,282.
The total count of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood 6.62,202 and the toll of death was 3,898.
306 patients were declared recovered on Tuesday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.53.022.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is 98.61% now.
So far, 79.8% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been flexible.
On Tuesday, 76,481 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.55 crore and has reached 6.87 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 96 cases on Tuesday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 17 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 24 and Sanga Reddy recorded 3 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Nalgonda with 23 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
