Hyderabad: The government can hold an assembly session for about ten days from September 22 to fulfill the constitutional obligations holding sessions at least every six months.
The previous assembly session was conducted in March for about 10 days and was concluded early in mind considering the increasing Covid-19 and Bypolls of Nagarjunsagar.
Official sources said the government initially planned to have a session in the second week of September but was decided to hold a session after soaking Ganesh.
The government is Likley to provide budget support for the Dalit Band scheme if the session continues.
The government said the scheme would be held for all 17 lakh dalit families in the state, gradually.
Pilots have been taken at Huzurabad and other Mandals.
The government also plans to have a full discussion about the Krishna and Godavari project and Gazette notification implications by the Center.
Apart from the assembly session, the election for the new Chairman of the Legislative Council is also likely.
