Hyderabad: Police Jubilee Hills on Wednesday registered a case against Chief Minister Assam Himanta Buswa Sarma for making an offensive statement against Rahul Gandhi.
On Monday, a Revanth Reddy, TPCC and Malkajgiri MP, along with other senior leaders from the Congress Party filed a complaint against Himanta Buswa Sarma with the Hills Jubilee Police Station.
Congress leaders demanded that the police order a criminal case against Himanta and arrest him for making an offensive father’s statement against Rahul Gandhi.
Banjara Hills ACP M Sudarshan said that based on complaints, a case has been registered with the Head of Assam Minister under 54 & 505 (2) IPC.
