New Delhi: Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao met with Minister of Relations Home Amit Shah on Saturday and asked him to increase the number of IPS officers for the country given the creation of more districts and funding full of roads in the areas affected by Maois.

He also looked for complete funds of road work in the district affected by Maois.
In the meeting, CM explained that the state government had regulated and created 33 districts, two years after the establishment of a new country for sending efficient welfare and development programs.
The organized district has been recognized by the central government.
However, there is a “need to occur” to create territorial shipment because of a series of new police unit administration, he said.
“Therefore, the minimum increase in 29 posts senior tasks, namely from 76 to 105, with an increase in total IPS cadres from 139 to 195 being sought as a special case, maintaining the administration requirements of the Police Department and for the use of police action,” said Rao in representation.
This allocation will help in posting IPS officers as commissioners, police supervisors, zone extracting and IGP multi zones in various territorial units, he said, adding that today, these territory units have no approved cadre posts.
