Hyderabad: With only one remaining to welcome the new year, the Telangana Government has announced to release a 13-month water bill, starting from December 2020 and December 2021.
Minister of Administration & Urban Development (MA & UD), W Who is reviewing the free water scheme to 20 KL, decided to let go of the bill for 13 months.
HMWS & SB has placed the December 31 deadline for consumers to link their Aadhaar details with ‘Consumer Account Numbers’ (CAN) registered with HMWS & SB, to utilize the 20 KL free water supply scheme.
This scheme was announced by the Telangana Government in December 2020.
Of the 9.84 Lakh consumers, more than 5.50 lakh consumers have completed the aadhar link process to utilize the 20 KL free water supply scheme.
City Administration & Urban Development (MA & UD) Special Secretary Head, Arvind Kumar issued orders on Thursday.
“Every pending bill for the period until December 2020, must be issued separately, without cutting it with the current bill and without collecting interest and penalty for 13 months for arrears on 30/11/2020,” he said.
Of the 9.8 consumers of Lakh, more than 5.5 lakh consumers have completed the aadhaar link to utilize the 20-KL free water supply scheme
