Telangana encourages work from office in IT companies

Hyderabad: In a fresh boost to get people back to the office, the State Health Department on Monday urged the management of IT companies in Hyderabad to continue work from the office.
Employees in the IT industry mostly work from home since March last year after Pandemic Covid-19.
While the threat of the third wave still hangs in the country, Public Health Director G Srinivasa Rao on Monday claimed that the workforce in the city was ready to return to the office when their family members were vaccinated 100%.
By stating that the representation was sent to the State IT department, Rao said, “Apart from your employees, the livelihood of Lakh people like food vendors depend on IT companies.
By considering all that, we ask management to reopen the office.” He too said there was no cluster or plague of Covid-19 cases in three months after the latest locking was appointed in the state.
Similar requests made by the IT department stated to continue work from the office in July.
However, at that time there were many concerns that would reopen the office and schools might pave the way for the third wave of Covid-19.
Furthermore, from 1.15 lakh students who have been played for the last 10 days after the educational institution was reopened, the Ministry of Health official claimed that only 55 students were tested positively.
“There are no cases of clusters at school,” said a senior health department official.
Boy positive tests at the 9th grade school Middle School students boys, Himayatnagar, CPL, Amberpet, were tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday.
Health officials said they had cleared the place.
“We will test the main contact of students, both at school and residence,” said Hyderabad DMHO, J Venkati.
He said that because school continued his physical class on September 1, not many cases have been reported from schools in this district.
