Hyderabad: Telangana is the only state in the country that provides retirement for handloom workers, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said on Saturday.
Saying his greetings to handloom workers in the state on the occasion of the National Handloom Day, Rao said the government managed to apply several schemes for workers in this sector.
The state government also provides its kind to the Handloom community and also provides subsidies for yarn, coloring and chemicals, said Minister of Chief.
He said Telangana’s exclusive handicrafts reflected Indian Arts and Culture and under the Trs Road, the government gave maximum priority in the handloom sector and developed it.
