?? In a five-hour meeting, Telangana’s Irrigation Special Principal of Special Rajat Kumar placed the problem and fears of the State for the distribution of water Krishna and alleged illegal projects built by the AP government.
During the meeting, the Telangana Government also accused KRMB failed to stop the transfer of water by the AP government and telemetry installation in Krishna Basin.
M? AP officials complained that the Telangana government had started an illegal Hydel power plant through the Srisailam project.
However, Telangana officials said the Srisailam project was originally understood for Hydel power plants by the Planning Commission and 180 TMCFF water must be released to the Sagar Nagarjuna Dam.
This was confirmed by Bachwat Tribunal too, officials informed during the meeting.
The Telangana government said it did not have objections if the AP produced Hydel power from Srisailam.
According to Telangana irrigation officials, Sepretarized Head of Irrigation told the Council that the previous water allocation 512: 299 TMCT total 811 TMCFT in the waters of Krishna between AP and Telangana was temporary and applies to only 2015-2016.
