HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday announced sanction of four veterinary colleges, Rs 50 crore for development works in Kamareddy municipality, Rs 25 crore each for development works in Banswada and Yellareddy talukas and Rs 10 lakh each for 526 gram panchayats in Kamareddy district.
He said that a medical college would be sanctioned for Kamareddy district soon and that the plan is to have a medical college in the rural area of every district in the state.
The chief minister assured the people that he would take up the responsibility of bringing 25 TMC water from Kaleshwaram, Kamareddy and its surrounding villages for irrigation and drinking water purposes.
Of the four veterinary colleges, one each will be set up in Siddipet, Warangal, Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts.
