Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday directed the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) to release 43 hectares of land owned by hetero drugs in Nakkapalli in Visakhapnam District which was attached before by a probe agent.
The appellate court under the PMLA law had previously directed the authorities to get this land equivalent cash deposit from the company and released land from attachments.
Thus, the company stores Rs 5.6 Crore with ED, but the agency does not release the land until now.
Edjali Agarwal’s advice said they had challenged the court order in front of the High Court and the previous HC asked both parties to maintain the status quo in connection with this land.
Hetero Counsel P Nagendra Reddy said it was unfair in the ed part to keep the ground and cash with him.
The bench too, found ED action was not acceptable.
It refused to entertain Ed’s request for ED’s advice for more time and modified the previous status ordered and directed Ed to release hetero land.
