Hyderabad: Starting on January 15, the first Covid-19 vaccine drive takes 347 days to achieve 100% coverage of the population that qualifies 2.77 crore countries.
More than 80,000 doses have been given every day, except for the days where there are limited vaccine supplies.
In the event of a drive vaccine, Health Minister T Harish Rao stated that while 87% of drives vaccines took place in government centers, the rest took place in private centers.
Nearly 10,000 vaccines work overtime to complete drives vaccines, and 35,000 members of the health care team are involved in a massive drive.
About 7,970 teams were deployed to go from door to door to find people who had not received the vaccine and manage it.
There are 3,500 government vaccine centers and 2,064 private vaccine centers in the state.
According to health experts, more efforts at the district level are needed to ensure 100% second dose coverage.
“Auction of vaccines in the state is very low, and there has been effective use of shares ASCI).
At the end of the first dose coverage, the state has a vaccine waste less than 0.05%.
The Minister of Health said the vaccine drive efforts have increased after the involvement of the line department such as city administration and Panchayat as staff have actively convinced people in rural areas to take vaccines.
“This center has decided the population of the 2.77 Crore target based on the projected population taking into account the 2011 census,” he said.
The state has a 30-dose of lakh for continuing coverage.
