Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Thursday has signed a Pact with Wingsure, Spin-Out Insurtech from Sri International (formerly Stanford Research Institute), to offer personalized plant insurance products and advisory services to small farmers and served in the state.
US-based Wingsure will collaborate with government institutions to develop land distribution strategies by utilizing in its inner technology platforms, including AR (augmented reality), AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning) – Personalization solutions, along with natural sound bots and processing natural language (NLP), to allow farmers to communicate in their mother tongue.
This will reduce and distribute other yields and general insurance through the insurance company network and partner broker.
It will also provide consultation, training, and facilitate rapid insurance claims through its cellphone-based platform.

While Telanagana information technology, the Electronics & Communications Department (ITE & C) will facilitate the implementation of solutions, the Ministry of Agriculture will offer implementation in the field through existing networks.
Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (Pjtsau) will offer domain expertise through its research center throughout the state.
It will offer its expertise on specific risk mitigation for plants, climate, and several other critical areas through the WINGSure platform.
Commenting on Development, Jayesh Ranjan, Primary Secretary, the Department of ITE & C, said that “technological advancements and implementation are ways to change agriculture.
Our government has identified agriculture as a priority sector and recognizes the importance of AI and other emerging technology in increasing agricultural productivity and improving The livelihoods of farmers in the state.
Associations with Wingsure will ensure the correlation of hyper-local data with in-depth technology to provide many services for their respective farmers.
