HYDERABAD: The Telangana state government on Wednesday announced the cancellation of intermediate second-year examinations.
The education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, who officially announced the cancellation of exams, said that this decision was made keeping the health of students in mind.
She said that results will be announced based on first-year intermediate marks.
“A committee is being constituted to finalise the modalities for results, “she added.

The move would benefit over 4.73 lakh intermediate second-year students.
The decision was made following the CBSE’s decision to cancel class 12 examinations amid pandemic.
This year, the state had already cancelled intermediate first-year examinations and promoted all students to the next class.
