Hyderabad: This country almost manages the four doses of Covid-19 vaccine crore for the next 24 hours with 3,99,21,813 doses given to Wednesday.
Telangana has given a crore dose within 165 days after the drive of the country’s vaccination began on January 16 this year.
Since then, the state has seen an increase in the availability of vaccine stocks and greater efforts by the authorities to provide a dose to a qualified population.
As a result, the state reached a milestone of two crore doses within 78 days in reaching a one-crore sign.
The next dose of Crore was given within 27 days because Telangana reached three crore marks on October 23.
However, after reaching a three-crore sign, the vaccine administration rate slowed slightly.
Some experts believe that the steps have relaxed because many are relaxed on urgency to get vaccination after the end of the second wave.
As a result, the gap between reaching three doses of crores and four days of crore will be around 45 days.
With concerns over the omicron variant of Covid-19 looming, the number of daily doses given has passed a 2-lakh sign for the past few days with 10 lakh doses given in the last four days.
“We made every effort to ensure that at the end of this month, all those who qualified in this country have taken their first dose and nothing late for the second dose.
The health team works overtime,” said Director of Public Health, Dr.
G Srininvasa Rao.
At present, 18 Lakh who qualifies in this country have not received their first dose.
So far, 94 percent have been given the first dose while around 50 percent have taken their second dose of their vaccines.
“Now it is proven that the vaccine has hardly has a detrimental effect on those who take it, and the observations now show that the existing vaccine cannot be fully avoided by the Omicron variant,” said Dr.
Kiran Madala, the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) researcher-certificate.
