Telangana: KCR opposed the increase in fertilizer rates

Hyderabad: Chief of Chief of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday said that farmers carry incorrect policy burdens from the center in the case of increasing fuel prices and fertilizers.
Expressing concerns over the proposal to increase fertilizer prices, cm demands Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure fertilizer costs are currently maintained and additional costs must be borne by the center.
In a letter that was strongly said to PM Modi on Wednesday on behalf of the farmer, KCR said the central policy did not only contribute to increasing planting costs to farmers but also failed to pay for farmers’ income.
Apart from this, the reform proposed in the agricultural electricity distribution sector by repairing the power of power consumption causes a lot of anxiety to farmers.
Telangana CM, which has been fighting against the procurement policy of the middle rice for the past few months and also demanded the minimum support price guaranteed (MSP) for agricultural products, said certain policies from the center had a negative impact on its interests.
The agricultural community in this country – Telangana in particular.
“In February 2016, the Center has announced that it will double the income of farmers in six years in 2022.
Although the passage for more than five years, there is no special or structured program that has been initiated in this direction,” KCR said.
Contrary to the policy of multiplying farmers’ income, all agricultural input costs are duplicated in recent years and their income decreases, he said.
“The center closed his eyes against the increase in fertilizer prices in the past six years while encouraging countries to conduct campaigns to reduce the use of urea and consumption of DAP.
The price of two fertilizers is most consumed 28.28 / 0 and murgation.
Poth each increases more From 50 percent and 100 percent in the past three months, “CM said in his letter.
President TRS, who accused this center adopted an anti-farmer policy in all forums, said fuel consumption increased in the agricultural sector due to agricultural mechanization and the imposition of CESS indiscriminately throughout the board even though there was no increase in imported price crude oil.
For farmers’ misery.
“The Indonesian government modifies the fertilizer subsidy regime, which has been practiced for the past seven years, towards the interests of the agricultural community,” CM said.
He also remembers Telangana assembly to issue a round resolution to integrate MGNREGA with agricultural activities so that labor costs are partly borne by the center.
“But there is no answer from you,” he said.
