Hyderabad: fever, door to door survey will begin in the state from Friday.
Health staff will identify people who have a fever and symptoms similar to Covid-19 and they will be given a home insulation kit, including brochures on how to use medicines, and also monitored daily.
This was decided during a videoconference with the collector by Health Minister T Harish Rao along with Minister K T Rama Rao and Errabelli Dayakar.
The survey will be conducted in coordination with the health, municipal administration and Panchayat Raj department.
“Kit insulation of homes will be provided on site for their fever and symptoms such as covid.
We have done the same thing in the second wave and was able to save a lot of people,” said Harish Rao, adding that the survey door-to-door undertaken also appreciated by Niti Aayog.
“Kit testing two crore and a home insulation kit crore has been set up in the state.
We have fully equip this isolation kit with medicines.
Kits have been distributed to the village level,” said Minister of Health.
On the readiness of the country, the Minister of Health said that 27,000 beds in government hospitals has been converted into a bed of oxygen and oxygen plants have been established in 76 hospitals.
“Oxygen capacity has been increased to 340 metric tons.
CM also directed that up to 500 metric tons of oxygen must be available.
We will make arrangements for it in the next few days.
If you had a slight fever, cough or fatigue, you are advised to go to the sub- center or pharmacy, “he said.
He also said that ‘Basthi Dawakhanas’ must be opened until 2 pm every Sunday, adding that MedicalSaf F, must be monitored daily for fever survey.
Harish, Rao also warned private hospitals to comply with the norms of pricing.
In Medaram jathara, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will decide the measures to be taken after a surge in cases.
