Telangana: L Ramana stops TDP to join the powerful TRS

Hyderabad: Wooed by Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, President of Telangana Party of Telugu Dooms L (TDP) L.
Ramana resigned from the party on Friday to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in the state.
K Chandrasekhar Rao’s efforts to get Ramana into the fold of TRS was also dictated by the desire to see that the former Health Minister Eatala Rajendar would suffer the defeat of the Hustings.
The selection of by-election is due in Huzurabad because eatala comes out of the trs and joins BJP.
Ramana from Karimnagar has a delay in the district.
Ramana, who met KCR on Thursday, announced his resignation from N Chandrababu Naidu-LED TDP which he had associated for three decades.
“In the scenario that changes and with the intention to serve better people and become part of the progress in the state, I have decided to join the TRS,” he said in a short letter in Telugu to Chandrababu Naidu on Friday.
He also made the letter public by dividing it in his social media.
Ramana thanked Naidu for helping him grow in the past three decades at TDP and said he resigned from the party.
During his political career, Ramana was a member of Parliament from Karimnagar.
He was also chosen as MLA from Jagtial and served as Minister of Textile.
