Hyderabad: Telangana on Friday recorded 359 Covid-19 cases, pushing the calculation to 6,54,394, while the victim rose to 3.854 with two more deaths.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) contributed most cases with 74, followed by Karimnagar (29) and Nalgonda (25) of the Regency, said a state government bulletin, gave details at 5:30 a.m.
on Friday.
The number of recovery exceeds the number of new cases on Friday with 494 people recovering from infectious diseases, taking the total amount to 6.43,812.
The number of active cases is 6,728, said the bulletin.
It was said 73,899 samples were tested on Friday, taking the cumulative number of specimens checked until 2,38,19,727.
The sample tested per million population was 6.39,971.
The case fatality rate in the state is 0.58 percent, while 1.3 percent at the national level.
The recovery rate was 98.38 percent, while 97.51 percent throughout the country, said the bulletin.
