Hyderabad: Telangana on Wednesday recorded 749 fresh Covid-19 cases, took the calculation to more than 6.33 lakh while the death toll reached 3,743 with five more deaths.
Khammam Regency contributed the highest number of cases with 96 followed by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) -72, said a state government bulletin.
The number of active cases is 10,203.
The total number of cases in the state reached 6,33,895, while with 848 people healed, the total recovery was 6.19,949.
More than 1.15 lakh samples were tested on Wednesday and cumulative, more than two crore samples were tested.
The sample tested per million populations of more than 5.40 lakh, said the bulletin.
The case of fatality and recovery rate of around 0.59 percent and 97.79 percent respectively.
