Hyderabad: Telangana reports less than 1,000 Covid-19 cases for the second day in a row on Monday.
A total of 993 infections during the day took the calculation to more than 6.21 lakh while the death toll reached 3,644 with nine victims.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) contributed the highest number of cases with 124 followed by Nalgonda (78) and Suryapet (72) of the Regency, said a bulletin.
The number of active cases is 13,869.
The total number of cases in this country reached 6.21.606, while with 1,417 people who were cured, the total recovery was 6.04,093.
More than 1.12 lakh samples were tested today.
Cumulatively, more than 1.84 crore samples have been tested.
The sample tested per 10 lakh population was more than 4.95 lakh, said the bulletin.
The case fatality rate in the state is 0.58% while it is 1.3% at the national level.
The recovery rate is 97.18% in the state of 96.76% in this country
