Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man, Mandali Shekhar, came from the village of Tharetigudem Gurlapodu Mandal in Nalgonda died in an accident in the US.
Shekhar has been going to the US two years ago and worked as an event manager at a hotel.
After the incident, Shekhar’s friends began the ‘GofundMe’ page that was looking for a contribution to meet the cost of sending Shekhar’s body back to India.
According to the information provided on the ‘GofundMe’ page, around 6.30 a night, the car traveled west on route 40 near Greenway Drive hit Shekhar.
Immediately after the incident, he rushed to the Howard County General Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Shekhar’s parents appealed to the government to help them get the body back home to do the last ritual.
More than $ 36,000 have been raised with 301 people contributing.
On November 19, after work, Shekhar walked back to his room when he was hit by a vehicle as he crossed the road.
