Hyderabad: Head of Secretary Somesh Kumar has directed officials to submit an integrated conservation and management plan for the development of Kakatiya Rudreshwara (Ramappa) temple in Palampet in Muluugu Regency.
Given the first meeting of the East Heritage Authority on Tuesday, Somesh Kumar discussed various legacy problems related to 26 protected monuments, including the Tomb of Qutb Shahi and Golconda fortress in the city.
The 13th century temple in Telangana, Ramappa in Muluugu, Telangana has been written as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The decision was reached after consensus where Norway opposed the inscription but Russia supported the offer.
Overall 17 countries support the Sitethe CS inscription directed officials to prepare a short status record of monuments protected by photographs and submit inspection reports to take further action.
The committee also directed officials to hand over the design of the guideline in the buffer zone for the Shahi Qutb tomb to a larger Hyderabad Heritage and the regional committee.
