HYDERABAD: Continuing its crackdown on hospitals to overcharging Covid-19 sufferers, the Telangana authorities on Monday barred six hospitals from recognizing or treating coronavirus instances.
Additionally, it slapped 51 show wreak havoc on 26 hospitals after getting fresh complaints from patients and their family members.
The six hospitals-Padmaja Hospital in KPHB Colony, Lifeline Medicure Hospital in Alwal, Max maintenance Hospital in Hanmakonda at Warangal Urban district, TX Hospital in Uppal, Lalitha Hospital at Warangal Urban and Sri Sai Ram Hospital, Sangareddy- possess the united the list of 10 other associations which have come under scrutiny within the last few days.
“Nowadays six hospitals are barred from damaging Covid-19 patients.
They will nevertheless finish the treatment of individuals in their care.
The consent for curing Covid-19 patients was revoked with immediate impact,” explained Dr G Srinivasa Rao, manager public wellbeing.
Complaints against bulk of those hospitals are seeing insignificant and excessive charges.
Other complaints relate to mismanagement and lack of appropriate attention.
“The division has collaborated 166 complaints and taken actions against 105 hospitals,” added the officer.
The country health authorities stated that the activity was initiated following appropriate inquiries to the complaints.
