Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 122 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Sunday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 3.764.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6,72,489 and the death toll was at 3,966.
171 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.64,759.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.85 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Sunday, 25,847 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.77 crore samples and has reached 7.46 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 46 cases on Sunday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri nearby 7 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 10 and Sanga Reddy recorded 5 new cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Khammam with 9 new cases recorded the highest number of cases, outside the GHMC limit.
