Telangana recorded 170 Covid-19 cases, 1 death

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 172 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Friday.
The number of active cases in this country reached 3.741, while the total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood above 6.73 lakh and the death toll was 3,972.
A total of 167 patients were declared recovered on Friday.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate reaches 98.85% now.
So far 79.9% of the total cases in the state have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
On Friday, 39,804 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 51 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajgiri near 11 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 17 and Sanga Reddy recorded seven new cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and the outskirts, Ranjana Sircila and Makangal Urban with 14 cases recorded the highest number of cases.
