Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 179 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Monday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,023.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6,70,453 and the death toll was at 3,949.
A total of 104 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.62,481.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.59 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.81 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Monday, 38,588 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.73 crores and has reached 7.34 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 66 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 10 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 9 and Sanga Reddy recorded 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and the edges, Karimnagar with 15 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
