Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 179 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Monday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,023.
The country has so far recorded 6,70,453 cases and 3,949 deaths.
A total of 104 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking a total recovery to 6.62,481.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.59 percent and the recovery rate at 98.81 percent.
On Monday, 38,588 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.73 crores and has reached 7.34 lakh testing sample per million populations.
Hyderabad greater recorded 66 cases on Monday, while the neighboring district of Medchal-Malkajiriri, Rangeddy and Sangareddy each recorded 10, nine and two cases.
Elsewhere, Karimnagar with 15 infections noted the highest new cases among other districts.
