Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 183 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Monday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,196.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood 6.68,070 and the death toll was 3,932.
A total of 220 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,59,942.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.78 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Monday, 40,354 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.68 crores and has reached 7.20 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 53 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri neighbor recorded 10 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 8 and Sanga Reddy recorded 6 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and the edges, Karimnagar with 20 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
