Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 201 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Saturday.
The number of active cases in this country reaches 4,541.
The total count of cases since the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood 6.66,384 and the death toll was at 3,920.
258 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.57,923.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98 percent now.
So far 79 percent of the overall cases in this country have asymptomatic while 20 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 41,690 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.64 crores and has reached 7 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 68 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 5 cases, Rangiteddy recorded 13 and Sanga Reddy recorded two cases.
Karimnagar with 23 new infections recorded the highest number of cases.
