Hyderabad: Telangana on Saturday recorded 325 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths even when the number of active cases in the country reached 6,065.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.57,119 and the death toll at 3,869.
The number of active detention zones in this country stand in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
424 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.47,185.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate reaches 98.48% now.
So far 79.8% of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been symptomatic.
On Saturday, 78,787 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.44 crores and has reached 6.56 lakh testing samples per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 80 cases on Saturday.
