Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 420 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 7,606.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.52,135 and the death toll was 3,841.
The number of active detention zones in this country stands at 23.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
A total of 623 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.40,688.
The Fatality Rate (CFR) case stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.24 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the total cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Saturday, 87,355 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.33 crore samples and has reached 6.27 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation recorded 71 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajiri set up 29 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 23 and Sanga Reddy recorded 6 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 47 new cases recorded on Sunday while Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam saw more cases.
