Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 609 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths on Tuesday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 8,777.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.46,606 and the dead were at 3,811.
The number of active detention zones in this country reaches 31.
Despite two detention zones in Hyderabad, Jagiyal and Karimnagar have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
As many as 64 years declared recovered on Tuesday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.34,018.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.05 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Tuesday, 1,08,921 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.23 crore samples and has reached 5.99 lakh sample testing per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation recorded 81 new cases on Tuesday, while Medchal Malkajiri neighbor recorded 36 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 36 and Sanga Reddy recorded 7 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam see more cases.
