Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 808 new Covid-19 cases and 7 deaths on Monday even when the number of active cases in the country decreased to 11,704.
Total counts from the beginning of last year’s pandemic, standing at 6.27,498 and the death toll was at 3,698.
The number of active detention zones in the state fell to 48.
At present, there are no active micro detention zones in Hyderabad while Mahabubabad with 15 and Bhadadri Kothagudem with 12 micro detention zones have the majority of active detention zones.
A total of 1,061 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.12,096.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stood at 0.58% while the recovery rate increased to 97.54% now.
So far 79.9% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 1.91 crore samples and has reached 5.15 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 82 new cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajgirgiri nearby 35 cases.
