Hyderabad: The latest GST collection number for September shows that Telangana is one of the top five countries in the country with a higher percentage of GST collected this year compared to September last year.
The country recorded a 25% increase in GST revenue, established in fifth position in terms of growth in GST collection among larger countries.
Showed an increase in economic activity, Telangana collected RS 3,494 Crore Receipt GST last month compared to RS 2,796 Crore in September 2020, the addition of Crore RS 698.
Telananga also has a better increase in GST collections than the country average of 20% in September When compared to the same month last year.
Among major countries, Odisha showed an increase in 40% growth in revenue growth followed by Jharkhand at 33%, Karnataka at 29% and Gujarat at 28%.
Projecting a bright picture in collecting GST, Telangana continues to collect more than Rs 3,000 Crore per month at the Hospital 3,526 Crore Collection in August and Rs 3,610 Crore in July.
These numbers are actually far better than collections in the pre covid-19 period.
In October 2019, the state had collected Rs 3,349 Crore.
“If there is no surge in the case of Covid-19 and the situation is stable, the collection will increase,” said an official.
When compared to September 2020, the AP saw a 21% increase in the GST collection.
Interestingly, all southern countries saw more than 20% growth in September this year compared to September last year.
