Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 494 new Covid-19 cases and 4 deaths on Sunday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 9,405.
The total count of cases since the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood at 6.41,153 and the death toll was at 3,784.
The number of active detention zones in the country stood at 39.
Apart from two detention zones in Hyderabad, Mahabubabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jagiyal, Kaimnagar and Bhadadri Kothagudem have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
A total of 710 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.27,964.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stood at 0.59 percent while the recovery rate increased to 97.94 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in this country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Sunday, 91,457 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed a 2.13 crore sample test and has reached 5.72 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 76 new cases on Sundays, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 19 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 31 and Sanga Reddy recorded 12 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Jagiyal, Khamman, Mancheriyal, Suryapet and Nalgonda see more cases.
