Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 201 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Thursday.
The number of active cases in this country reaches 4,541.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.66,384 and the death toll was 3,920.
258 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.57,923.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.73 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 41,690 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.64 crores and has reached 7.11 lakh sample tests per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 68 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajgiri near 5 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 13 cases recorded by 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 23 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
