Telangana Report 201 New Covid-19 Case, 1 Death

Hyderabad: Telangana on Friday reported 201 Covid-19 cases, pushing calculation to 6.67,535, while the victim rose to 3.927 with one more death.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) contributed most cases with 64, followed by Warangal Urban and Ranga Reddy (12 each) district, said the state government bulletin, gave details at 5:30 a.m.
The number of recovery exceeds the number of new cases on Friday with 220 people recovering from infectious diseases, taking a cumulative number to 6.59,263.
The number of active cases is 4,345, said the bulletin.
It was said 47,465 samples were tested on Friday, taking the total number of specimens checked as far as 2.67.14,442.
The sample tested per million population was 7.17,744.
The level of case fatality in the state is 0.58 percent, while 1.3 percent at the national level, said Bulletin.
The recovery rate in Telangana is 98.76 percent, while 97.94 percent in this country.
