Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 121 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Sunday.
The number of active cases in the country reached 4,009.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.71,463 and the death toll was at 3.956.
As many as 183 patients were declared recovered on Sundays, taking a total of patients recovered to 6.63,498.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.81 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Sunday, 25,021 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.75 Crore and has reached 7.40 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 55 cases on Sunday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri nearby recorded 6 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 10 and Sanga Reddy recorded 4 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Khammam with 5 new cases each recorded the highest number of cases.
