Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 151 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Friday.
The number of active cases in this country reaches 3,963.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6,72,203 and the toll of death stands at 3,838.
190 patients were declared recovered on Friday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.64.402.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.83 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Friday, 33,226 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.77 crore samples and has reached 7.45 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 45 cases on Friday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 12 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 10 and Sanga Reddy did not record new cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 16 new cases recorded the highest number of cases, outside the GHMC limit.
