Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 162 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Sunday.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.67.887 and the death toll was at 3,930.
The number of active cases in the state is 4,235.
As many as 214 patients recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,59,772.
The Fatality Rate (CFR) case is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is at 98.76 percent now.
So far 79.77 percent of the overall cases in this country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Sundays, 33,506 samples were tested for Covid-19.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.67 Crore and has reached 7.19 lakh testing samples per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 55 cases on Sunday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 10 cases.
Ranga Reddy recorded 11 cases and Sanga Reddy recorded 5 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 10 new infections recorded the highest number of cases.
