Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 168 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Saturday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,072.
The total count of cases since the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood 6.71,342 and the death toll was 3,955.
A total of 191 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking a total count of patients recovered to 6.63,315.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.80 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Saturday, 37,882 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.75 Crore and has reached 7.40 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 62 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 11 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 12 and Sanga Reddy recorded 3 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 12 new cases each recorded the highest number of cases.
