Telangana reported 245 new Covid-19 cases, one death

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 245 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Sunday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 7,268.
The total number of cases from the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood at 6.52,380 and the death toll was at 3.842.
The number of active detention zones in the country stands in 20.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
582 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.41.270.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.29 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Sundays, 50,126 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.33 crore samples and has reached 6.28 lakh testing samples per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 52 klage on Sunday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 10 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 15 and Sanga Reddy recorded 1 case.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 30 new cases recorded on Sunday while Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam saw more cases.
