Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 313 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Thursday, took the calculation to 6,58,376 and the toll became 3,878.
According to the latest numbers, the number of active cases this year increased to 5,809.
The number of active detention zones in the country is in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
354 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the amount of recovery to 6.49,002.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate reaches 98.52% now.
So far 79.8% of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been symptomatic.
On Thursday, 71,304 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.47 Crore and has completed 6.65 lakh testing samples per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 77 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 18 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 13 and Sanga Reddy recorded five cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 21 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
