Telangana reported 315 new cases, two deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 315 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Thursday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5,470.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.60.786 and the death toll was at 3,891.
The number of active detention zones in the state is in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
As many as 340 patients were declared to have recovered on Thursday, taking a total count of patients recovered to 6,51,425.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.58 percent now.
So far, 79.8 percent of the total cases in the state have been asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have flumed.
On Thursday, 75,199 samples were tested for Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.52 crores and has reached 6.78 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 83 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajiri neighbor recorded 13 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 17 and Sanga Reddy recorded five cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Nalgonda with 21 new cases recorded the highest number of infections.
