Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 325 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 6,065.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.57.119 and the death toll was at 3,869.
The number of active detention zones in this country stand in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
424 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.47,185.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.48 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Saturday, 78,787 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample test of 2.44 crores and has reached 6.56 lakh testing samples per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 80 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajiri neighbor recorded 19 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 15 and Sanga Reddy recorded 4 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 26 new cases recorded on Sunday while Khammam, Narayanpet and Warangal Urban saw more cases.
