Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 366 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Wednesday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 6,295.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6,56,098 and the toll has increased to 3,864.
The number of active detention zones in the country is in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
As many as 345 patients were declared recovered, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,45,939.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is 98.45% now.
So far, 79.9% of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have symptomatic.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 102 new cases, while Medchal Malkajiri neighbor recorded 27 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 13 and Sanga Reddy recorded five cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 34 new cases recorded on Sunday while Narayanpet and Warangal urban saw more cases.
