Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 453 new Covid-19 cases and 3 deaths on Monday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 8,242.
The total count of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.49,859 and the death toll was 3,842.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 68 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 25 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 20 and Sanga Reddy recorded 5 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 43 new cases recorded on Sunday while Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam saw more cases.
