Telangana: ‘Rs 32 Crore to modernize 61 Mortuaries’

Hyderabad: At a cost of 32.54 crores, the state government has done work to modernize existing infrastructure and basic facilities in 61 Morsaris in the state.
On Wednesday, Health Minister T Harish Rao announced that 10 Mortuarists at Tertiary Teaching Hospital in Hyderabad – including fever hospitals, chest hospitals, Osmania General Hospitals – and Mahabubnagar, Siddipet, Nalgonda, Suryapet Nizamabad, Adilabad, will be renovated at a cost of 11.12 crore.
21.42 Crore is being spent to modernize corpse facilities in 51 other government hospitals under the control of Telangana Vidya Vidhan Parishad.
