Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 167 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Tuesday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 3.933.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.71,790 and the Death Toll was 3,959.
A total of 207 patients were restored on Tuesday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.63,898.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.82 percent now.
So far, 79.9 percent of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Tuesday, 37,941 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.76 crore and has reached 7.42 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 66 cases on Tuesday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 10 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 10 and Sanga Reddy recorded 4 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 10 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
